Clear Pore Oil-Controlling Astringent

One of the best ways to clear current acne -- and prevent it in the future -- is to properly clean your pores. Neutrogena's astringent not only removes the breakout-causing dirt, oil, and makeup that's trapped deep in your pores, it also cleans the surface of your skin completely. Remove excess surface oil and treat any current blemishes with the maximum-strength, acne-fighting formula -- leaving your skin healthy, moist, and blemish-free.
Cleanse the skin thoroughly before application. Moisten a cotton ball and apply to your face in a gentle stroking motion. Do not rinse. The cool sensation tells you it's working. Use 1 to 3 times daily. Because excessive drying of the skin may occur, start with one application daily, then gradually increase to 2 to 3 times daily if needed or as directed by a doctor. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day.
Active Ingredient: Salicylic Acid. Other Ingredients: SD Alcohol 40, Purified Water, Witch Hazel, Butylene Glycol, Glycereth-7, Aloe Barbadensis Extract, Matricaria Extract, Methyl Gluceth-20, Benzophenone-4, FD&C Yellow No. 5, FD&C Blue No. 1, Propylene Glycol, Fragrance.
For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, immediately flush with water. Using other topical acne medications at the same time or immediately following the use of this product may increase dryness or irritation of the skin. If this occurs, only one medication should be used unless directed by a physician. Keep this and all drugs out of reach of children. In case of accidental ingestion, seek professional assistance or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.
